Are you tired of being in Chronic pain?
Chronic Pain Coaching to Help You Retrain Your Brain and Reduce Pain
You’ve been in pain for months, years, or even decades. You’ve seen countless doctors and specialists. You’ve tried medications, diets, physical therapy, and alternative practitioners — maybe even surgery. Yet your pain persists, worsens, or spreads to new areas of your body.
You feel like you’re falling apart. You’re grieving the parts of your life you’ve lost. You’re scared of losing more — your mobility, your independence, your ability to show up for the people you love. Even if pain hasn’t taken over every corner of your life, it never fully lets you relax. You live with constant fear:
What if it comes back? What if it gets worse? What if there’s nothing left to try?
Maybe someone mentions a book.
A colleague recovers from migraines or back pain without physical intervention.
Your doctor hints that chronic pain may be influenced by brain patterns, stress, trauma, or emotional threat.
And you wonder:
Could this be true for me? Could these discoveries help me get my life back?
If you’d like a clearer, more structured understanding of why pain can stay stuck, and what allows the nervous system to genuinely update over time, I’ve put that into a Foundational Guide you can read at your own pace.
What Chronic Pain Coaching Can Do for You
With Chronic Pain Reset Method, my mission is to help every client understand the brain-based patterns driving chronic symptoms. My clients learn how to reduce or eliminate chronic pain using a neuroscience-informed, non-invasive approach rooted in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and chronic pain coaching.
PRT is supported by research showing its effectiveness for many people with chronic pain and chronic symptoms — whether you’ve been in pain for two years or twenty, whether your pain is localized or widespread. To work with me, you don’t need to stop medications, overhaul your treatment plan, or do specific exercises.
This approach is evidence-informed, built on a peer-reviewed, randomized clinical trial of Pain Reprocessing Therapy and decades of neuroscience research. Read the neuroscience that supports this program. I can also share additional educational materials — papers, books, podcasts, and videos — if you’d like to deepen your understanding.
If you’re ready to explore a proven mind-body path forward through chronic pain coaching, reach out today to book a consultation.

My mission is to empower every client through neuroscience-informed chronic pain coaching — helping you retrain your brain, calm your nervous system, and create meaningful, lasting change in your symptoms and your life.
Introducing the Chronic Pain Reset Method
Contemporary neuroscience shows that the primary driver of most chronic pain is not tissue damage, degeneration, or structural problems. Instead, many persistent symptoms originate from hyperactive brain and central nervous system functioning. In this model, chronic pain is understood as a centralized condition — a protective response generated by the brain rather than an issue in individual body parts. Learn more about the brain-based mechanisms behind chronic pain recovery.
This perspective helps explain why treatments focused solely on the body — such as surgery, physical therapy, injections, or medications — often struggle to create lasting change.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a leading neuroscience-based approach for working with chronic pain. It supports the retraining of neural pathways that keep pain signals active, helping the brain interpret sensations with less fear and threat. I was part of the very first cohort of PRT-certified practitioners, trained directly by the scientists and clinicians who developed the method and published their influential research in JAMA Psychiatry.
Since that time, I’ve spent years studying, practicing, and refining how to apply PRT within a comprehensive chronic pain coaching framework. My background as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach — combined with training in behavior change and client-centered coaching — shapes the way I deliver this work: personal, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s goals, learning style, and life circumstances. What the Chronic Pain Reset Method Includes
The Chronic Pain Reset Method for individuals and small groups is built around Pain Reprocessing Therapy and modern pain neuroscience. The core components include:
- education in the neuroscience of chronic pain
- brain retraining tools to support new neural pathways
- identifying emotional and cognitive triggers that amplify symptoms
- gently reintroducing avoided movements and activities
- shifting the nervous system from fight-or-flight into safety, connection, and repair
Together, we uncover when, how, and why your brain began producing persistent symptoms, what has kept them active, and how to systematically retrain those neural pathways. Then we create a personalized plan to “re-wire” your brain for more ease and confidence in daily life. Learn more about the brain-based mechanisms behind chronic pain recovery.
Chronic Pain Reset Method for Kids, Pre-Teens, and Teenagers
Children and teenagers today face enormous pressure — academic, social, emotional, and internal. Many don’t yet have the skills to communicate their feelings, regulate stress, or express vulnerability to parents or authority figures. Their brains and nervous systems are still developing, which makes them especially sensitive to stress and overwhelm.
Because of this, it’s very common for kids and teens to experience unexplained chronic pain or persistent symptoms — headaches, stomach pain, musculoskeletal discomfort, fatigue, and more — even when medical exams show nothing structurally wrong.
This can be frightening and confusing for both the child and the family.
When a child is experiencing “mystery pain” or symptoms that may be influenced by stress, emotion, or learned nervous system patterns, the Chronic Pain Reset Method, grounded in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, can be a highly supportive approach. Chronic pain coaching helps kids and teens understand how their brain and nervous system interpret signals, why symptoms can amplify under stress, and how to develop healthier, more flexible responses.
For many families, the Chronic Pain Reset Method offers clarity, reassurance, and a path forward. It is a non-invasive, neuroscience-informed process that gives kids tools for emotional awareness and nervous system regulation — and gives parents guidance and hope. Five weekly, private coaching sessions form the foundation of the Chronic Pain Reset Method. Each chronic pain coaching session builds on the next, helping you understand your symptoms, retrain neural pathways, and develop tools that support a calmer, more flexible nervous system. Reflective journaling, somatic tracking, and accessible neuroscience education are incorporated into each session.
Before Your First Chronic Pain Reset Session
You’ll complete a short intake form that gives me the information I need to understand your symptoms, history, and goals. Many clients also share previous test results or medical notes if they choose — this context helps us tailor the chronic pain coaching and begin building safety and clarity right away.
After Your First Session
You’ll begin receiving personalized materials that support your learning and practice. These often include curated videos, audio exercises, readings, and worksheets designed to help you understand the neuroscience of chronic pain and apply the tools between sessions.
What You Will Learn and Practice
Throughout the chronic pain coaching program, you’ll learn how chronic pain works in the brain and nervous system — and how to work with those systems rather than against them. You’ll explore patterns of fear, avoidance, over-monitoring, and stress that may amplify symptoms, and you’ll practice strategies to interrupt the pain–fear cycle, create safety, and encourage new neural pathways.
Weekly Themes and Skills
Each chronic pain coaching session includes a blend of education, somatic tracking practice, emotional awareness work, cognitive tools, and movement exploration. We’ll gradually reintroduce activities you’ve been avoiding and build confidence in your body and brain through repetition, curiosity, and safety.
